After purchasing multiple fold-out tents and beach umbrellas that were poor quality and lasted literally only two uses, and after stressing out and crying, lol, because I couldn’t pack up my beach tent as it was impossible to fold back in as easily as it was presented in the manual, while my babies were going nuts from the heat, I decided to give CoolCabanas a go, and I must say that I genuinely LOVE it.

As someone who has used so many different products, I feel like I can legitimately say this is the best beach tent. It takes almost no time to set up, literally 30 seconds with my husband and me working together. It’s incredibly lightweight, and the bag and sling work really well. It also provides almost identical coverage to an old-school tailgate tent setup.

It’s so much more secure than a typical umbrella or tailgate tent. Ours stayed put with zero issues, and we watched about ten umbrellas collapse around us due to high winds. Meanwhile, a couple beside us took approximately 15 to 20 minutes, with four adults, to set up their tailgate tent.

If I could give this ten stars, I would. This is our first beach trip using it instead of a tailgate tent, and not only did it blow our minds, we had about five neighbouring beachgoers asking us about it and saying they wanted to buy one.

As a dad who lives on and loves the beach, I have gone through my share of “pop-up” canopies that are hard to haul and time-consuming to set up, as well as flimsy beach umbrellas.

Shade is still a must to give the kids some breaks from the sun!!
